Diana Lloyd is retiring in 2024 as a partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, where she has served as co-chair of Choate’s Government Enforcement & Compliance Group. Diana has over 25 years of experience helping companies and individuals to successfully manage federal and state government enforcement matters, internal investigations, and related business litigation. Diana also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts in the Major Crimes and Economic Crimes Units. Prior to joining Choate, Diana worked as a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amalya L. Kearse, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Diana has held leadership roles in the Boston legal community, including as President of the Boston Bar Foundation, Member of the Boston Bar Association Council, and as a Trustee of the Women’s Bar Foundation. She is also active in the Boston and Stowe, Vermont Jewish communities. She is a former Trustee of Gann Academy, has been active in Combined Jewish Philanthropies in various leadership roles, and is a current Trustee of the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe, Vermont.

Diana received a B.A in English and French from St. Lawrence University (Valedictorian, 1984), and MA and JD degrees from New York University (1989), where she was Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Law Review. She also completed a Fulbright French Government Teaching Assistantship.

As an Access to Justice Fellow, Diana will partner with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). ADL is the leading “anti-hate” organization in the world. Its mission is to combat antisemitism and to secure justice and fair treatment for all. ADL has piloted a “helpline” program for pro bono legal assistance to address antisemitism in K-12 schools and is now expanding that initiative to Boston. The need for this resource for students and parents is more pronounced than ever given the recent surge in antisemitic incidents. Diana will work on this project, which will involve conducting intake calls and initial legal assessment of antisemitism complaints. Diana may also undertake other projects of interest to ADL’s litigation team in its fight to combat antisemitism.
