Community-based nonprofit organizations (NPOs) play an important role in creating more affordable housing in Massachusetts. This 101-level workshop provides fundamental information for NPOs exploring affordable housing activities. Topics include joint ventures between NPOs and for-profit entities, and funding available to NPOs (often on favorable terms), such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity and HOME funding.
