Eviction Records Sealing Clinic (Women’s Lunch Place)
PLEASE NOTE: This clinic will be held at Women’s Lunch Place, a women-only shelter.
Do you have eviction records that are hindering your ability to access housing or other services? We may be able to connect you with free advice and guidance from volunteer attorneys.
At this clinic, volunteer attorneys will:
- Review your eviction records with you;
- Explain Massachusetts’ eviction record sealing law;
- Explain how the law applies to your eviction records; and
- May help file sealing petitions depending on your eligibility
What should you bring? Nothing! All you need is to know is your past addresses in Massachusetts and we can find your cases online.
The clinic will be intake and advice only. Participants will be responsible for any follow-up required to seal their eviction records.
Walk-ins are welcome at in-person clinics. If you would like to sign up in advance or discuss your legal concern in more detail, please contact our Clinic Manager, Sean Thekkeparayil: [email protected] or 617-544-3434 ext. 110.
