SUMMARY:Training and Issue Spotting: How to Prevent Workplace Harassment and Discrimination
DESCRIPTION:If you wish to join us for this program\, please complete the following two steps by 5:00 pm on September 25. Please note space is limited. \n(1) Register here. \n(2) Email us your current anti-harassment policy (if you have one). \nDoes your nonprofit have an anti-harassment policy in place that clearly identifies unacceptable conduct? If so\, when did you last update it? And has it effectively deterred bad behavior and protected your employees? Come and join our training and consultation program on this timely topic. David Bowman of Morgan Lewis LLP will lead a discussion on topics including legal compliance\, practical issues facing nonprofits\, and best practices. Following this program\, pro bono attorneys will meet with preselected attendees to review their existing anti-harassment policies. The review session will point out the problematic areas in the policy\, and nonprofits are invited to follow up with Lawyers Clearinghouse to obtain full representation to revise and update their policy based on this review.
