DESCRIPTION:Registration: Apply here and someone will follow up with you. This consultation is open to both 501(c)3 organizations and prospective nonprofits. \nPayment: $25 per organization upon acceptance. This fee supports Lawyers Clearinghouse\, however if it is difficult to pay\, you may forego paying it. \nBylaws are the core of nonprofit good governance\, providing a roadmap for the organization and its board of directors. Join Lawyers Clearinghouse and attorneys from Weil for a presentation and consultation on nonprofit bylaws. \nAfter an overview of bylaws basics\, lawyers from Weil will review your organization’s current bylaws and discuss possible revisions or help you start the process of creating new bylaws. \nThis consultation is intended for any nonprofit looking to review\, update or create bylaws\, from established nonprofits to those who have just incorporated. \n\n1-2 PM: One-hour presentation on bylaws basics.\n2-3 PM: Private consultation with volunteer attorneys.\n\nNonprofit Presenter: Gail Hupper\, Access to Justice Fellow\nVolunteer Attorneys: Weil\, Gotshal & Manges LLP
