Florence Pagano

Florence Pagano recently retired after an almost 30-year career with the United States Courts for the First Circuit, where she served since 2016 as Deputy Circuit Executive. She joined the federal courts in 1996. Prior to joining the federal courts, Florence worked as an associate for a small firm practicing animal welfare and environmental litigation. She graduated from New York University School of Law in 1990. As an Access to Justice Fellow, Florence is working with the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute (MLRI) and the Habeas Project of Massachusetts, a collaboration of several organizations that connect immigration attorneys whose clients have been detained with habeas experts who can provide advice and mentorship, on the Headnote Initiative.
