Fred is currently a trustee of Nativity Preparatory School New Bedford. He is also a past board member of Friends Academy, the Lloyd Center for the Environment and the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.

Fred will be volunteering with the Boston College Innocence Program. He will be collaborating with Boston College faculty, law students, graduate social work students, and undergraduate interns to identify, remedy, and prevent wrongful convictions. His work will include working as part of a team on investigations and direct representation of clients who maintain they were wrongly convicted of crimes they did not commit and collaborating with community partners and government actors on law and policy reforms to prevent these injustices.

Fred will also volunteer with Justice Bridge Legal Center, where he will mentor new attorneys who offer low cost legal assistance to clients of limited means as part of Justice Bridge’s legal incubator program.
