Hon. Linda Giles (Ret.)

Hon. Linda Giles (Ret.) was engaged in the private practice of law before joining the bench. In 1991, she was appointed to be an Associate Justice of the Boston Municipal Court; and, in 1998, she was elevated to the Superior Court. Before retiring in December 2020, Judge Giles participated in many educational programs for judges and lawyers over the years on a variety of topics. She continues to work as Adjunct Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School, where she has taught since 1996. She is a graduate of New England School of Law. As an Access to Justice Fellow, Judge Giles will work with Greater Boston Legal Services (GLBS) as a mentor on an ad hoc basis to the newer attorneys relative to any aspect of trial preparation and trial advocacy.
