Hon. Pamela Dashiell (Ret.)

Hon. Pamela M. Dashiell (Ret.) was appointed to the Boston Municipal Court Department (BMC) of the Trial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2009. She served as the First Justice of the South Boston Division of the BMC from 2019 until her retirement in 2023. Judge Dashiell previously served as the Director of Planning and Policy Development for the Administrative Office of the Trial Court of Massachusetts. and the General Counsel to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A native of Chicago, Illinois. Judge Dashiell is a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. As an Access to Justice Fellow, Judge Dashiell will work with the Volunteer Lawyers Project Appeals Clinic on cases involving self-represented litigants.
