Nancy Blueweiss named “In-House Leader in Law”

Congratulations to our vice president, Nancy Blueweiss, for being named one of the 2013 “In-House Leaders in Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly! The annual award goes to corporate in-house lawyers who are “leaders in the community, forward thinkers and best exemplify the noble tradition of the legal profession.”

She was honored at a reception on Thursday, March 7  at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston.

Nancy, Associate General Counsel for Massachusetts Housing Partnership, joined the Lawyers Clearinghouse board in 2008. She is an enthusiastic supporter of our mission to provide pro bono legal services to nonprofits and homeless individuals. As a sharp, ambitious board member, Nancy certainly deserves this award.

In addition to serving on the Clearinghouse board, she chairs the West Newton CDBG Advisory Committee, co-chairs the Affordable Housing Committee for the Real Estate Bar Association, and is a member of the City of Newton Fair Housing Committee, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fair Housing Advisory Panel, and New England Women in Real Estate.
